In September 2021, Quartet Draig enjoyed performing a programme of contemporary music in Urban Crofters, Cardiff, as the first half of a concert which also included a contemporary opera by composer Julia Plaut. For this concert we performed Woodworks, a collection of folk pieces arranged by the Danish String Quartet; Federico II by Giovanni Sollima and String Quartet no. 1 ‘Forgotten Time’ composed by contemporary composer Mark David Boden.
