In February 2022, Quartet Draig returned to Saxon Barn, a beautiful venue in Gloucestershire where they always receive a warm reception, to perform a programme of film music. The quartet’s aim with this concert was to perform a mixture of well known, popular film music alongside some lesser known yet beautiful film music that they hoped would allow people in the audience to discover something new.
The audience enjoyed music from a range of films, including Harry Potter, Pride and Prejudice, Love Actually, Atonement, Cast Away, Pulp Fiction and The Soloist with music by composers such as Howard Blake, John Williams, Ennio Morricone, Craig Armstrong and John Corigliano.
